Our Verdict

Moneta Funded launched in 2025 with a genuine differentiator most new prop firms do not have: broker backing. Moneta Markets provides the execution behind it, which means ECN spreads from 0.0 pips and infrastructure that is a step above a firm running purely on marketing and a white-label platform. Combined with an 88% profit split across every account type and a $49 entry point on the Two Step Challenge, the value proposition is strong for a brand-new name.

The 20% consistency rule is the detail that needs the most attention. Most competitors in the CFD and forex prop firm category use a 40 to 50% rule, meaning Moneta expects your profit spread far more evenly across trading days than most firms do. If you tend to have one or two standout sessions that carry most of your profit, run the numbers through our consistency calculator before assuming a payout will clear cleanly.

Trustpilot feedback so far is genuinely positive, a 4.4 out of 5 rating from 53 reviews with traders citing fast, knowledgeable support. That is a good early signal, but it is still a small sample for a firm that has only been operating a year or so, and Reddit or forum discussion is thin simply because there has not been time for a real trader community to form around it yet.

The four challenge types give real flexibility: Two Step for the cheapest entry, One Step for a faster single-phase pass, Phoenix if you want a free retry built in, and Instant Funding if you want to skip the evaluation entirely and pay more upfront for it. Moneta also runs a separate Sprint Challenge that its discount code specifically excludes, and we were not able to independently confirm that product’s exact terms, so ask directly before buying into it if that is the option you are considering.

Moneta Funded is worth considering if you want broker-grade execution and a high split at a low price, and you are comfortable being an early adopter of a firm without a long public track record yet. Traders who lean on one big trading day for most of their profit should think carefully about the 20% consistency rule before committing to a challenge here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Moneta Funded a legitimate prop firm?

Moneta Funded is backed by Moneta Markets, an established broker, and holds a 4.4 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot from 53 reviews as of mid-2026. It launched in 2025, so it does not yet have a multi-year payout track record, but the broker backing and early review pattern are a reasonably positive signal for a new firm.

What is Moneta Funded’s consistency rule?

No single trading day can account for more than 20% of your total profit on most challenge types. This is stricter than the 40 to 50% consistency rules common at many competitors, so traders who rely on one or two big winning days need to plan payout timing more carefully.

What is the cheapest Moneta Funded challenge?

The Two Step Challenge on a $2,500 account starts at $49, one of the cheapest evaluation entry points in the CFD prop firm category.

How does the Phoenix Challenge differ from the standard challenges?

Phoenix uses a trailing drawdown model with a single 10% profit target and includes a free retry if you fail the challenge, at a higher price point than the One Step or Two Step options.

Is there a Moneta Funded discount code?

Yes, code FT42 takes 42% off most challenges. It does not apply to the Sprint Challenge, a separate challenge type Moneta Funded offers that we were not able to independently verify the terms of at the time of writing.
