The PropFirmReviews Editorial Team
PropFirmReviews.net is written and maintained by the PropFirmReviews Editorial Team, a small group of funded traders and researchers. The team trades funded accounts, buys the challenges it tests, and tracks the prop firm industry every day. Every review, score, and closure record on this site goes through the same team and the same published methodology.
How the team tests a prop firm
The PropFirmReviews Editorial Team buys the challenges it tests. The team reads the full terms, not the sales page, and records where the two disagree. Rules get checked against the firm own documents: profit targets, drawdown type, daily loss limits, consistency rules, and payout terms. Trustpilot figures are read from the Trustpilot profile itself, never from a widget on the firm own website, because widgets have been caught overstating them.
Every score comes from the same six dimensions: challenge rules, payout reliability, cost against value, platform, support, and transparency. The weights are fixed and published on the methodology page. Some caps are hard. A firm with under twelve months of history cannot score high on payout reliability, no matter how good its terms look.
What the team will not do
No firm can pay to change a score. PropFirmReviews earns money through affiliate links, and the partnership side is kept separate from the editorial side: the people who handle partnerships have no say in a rating. When a firm fails traders, the team writes it down, with the source, on the prop firms that shut down tracker. Several firms on that page were affiliate partners before they closed. The record stayed.
Why there is a team byline and not one name
Reviews on this site are checked by more than one person before they publish, and they get re-checked when a firm changes its rules. A team byline means the whole team stands behind the page, and no single person can be pressured to soften a rating. The team signs its work the same way on every page: PropFirmReviews Editorial Team, with the date the page was last fact-checked.
