TradingView: pricing and features

Charting and research

TradingView combines browser charts, technical indicators, alerts and Bar Replay. Free Basic access and paid charting subscriptions are separate from exchange data and broker execution.

A chart symbol being available does not mean your prop account can trade it through TradingView. Confirm the broker connection and data entitlement.

Who TradingView suits

For chart-based preparation

Useful for building watchlists, reviewing levels and setting technical alerts across markets.

For direct order routing

Check the exact supported broker and account type first. Paid charting alone does not add a prop account connection.

What TradingView includes

The official TradingView documentation describes these functions. Plan and connection limits apply.

Chart workspace limits
Essential lists 2 charts per tab and 5 indicators per chart; Plus raises those to 4 and 10.
Price and technical alerts
The annual comparison lists 20 price and technical alerts for Essential and 100 of each for Plus.
Replay and analysis
The pricing comparison includes Bar Replay, custom timeframes and volume-profile tools, with access varying by plan.
Cross-device apps
The vendor lists web, desktop and mobile applications for the paid plans.

Platforms and access

TradingView is its own charting environment. Execution depends on a supported broker login; chart access is not universal prop-platform integration.

Checks before use

A chart symbol being available does not mean your prop account can trade it through TradingView. Confirm the broker connection and data entitlement.

  1. Execution permission. Check whether your specific firm account supports TradingView routing and whether external alerts or automated execution are allowed.
  2. Exchange entitlements. Budget separately for required real-time data and professional exchange classifications. A charting plan is not a blanket data licence.
  3. Alert security. Treat webhook destinations and account-linked automation as sensitive. Test alerts without live execution first.
  4. Annual billing and refunds. Annual offers charge a full year. The page states annual refunds must be requested within 14 calendar days and excludes monthly plans from refunds.
