E8 Perpetuals
Review
6.0 out of 10
The short answer
Two drawdown models. Help-centre presets out of date.
E8 Perpetuals has fair list prices and a choice between a trailing (E8 One) and static (E8 Pro) drawdown, but the help-centre presets do not match the configurator and no perps payout record is verified. Score 6.0/10.
Our verdict
E8 Perpetuals is a perpetual futures prop firm product from E8 Markets. It uses a one-step evaluation, runs on E8 Terminal and pays a share of simulated profits as performance payouts through third-party processors. E8 Markets does not sell E8 Perpetuals as a separate programme. Perpetual Futures is a market you pick at checkout on two products, E8 One and E8 Pro. E8 Markets says drawdowns, trading rules and the payout mechanism stay the same as the Classic Markets versions.
Prices come from Hyperliquid through the Hyperliquid data feed on E8 Terminal. The accounts are simulated. E8 Markets states that no real funds are deployed on your behalf. The perps market covers crypto, stock, index and metal perpetuals and replaced the old Crypto market.
This review covers the perps market only. The E8 Markets CFD review and the E8 Futures review are separate and keep their own scores.
Verdict: fair prices, rules need checking
E8 Perpetuals scores 6.0/10. E8 Perpetuals has reasonable list prices and two distinct risk models, but the rules in the E8 Markets help centre do not match the default setups in the configurator, and there is no independent record of perps payouts.
E8 Pro is the easier E8 Perpetuals option to plan around. The default 6% static floor does not trail, the target is 6%, there is no consistency rule and payout requests are daily. The catch is that each E8 Perpetuals payout on E8 Pro releases only half of your profit, and the floor moves up to your starting balance after the first payout. E8 One gives E8 Perpetuals traders a higher split ceiling, but the default 9% target sits against a 6% drawdown that trails closed profits, and the funded stage adds a 40% best day rule and a news ban.
Set the configurator to the drawdown and payout share you want and read the rules it shows before paying. E8 Perpetuals rules change with those selections.

One-step simulated evaluation. Default configurator setup on $100K: 9% profit target ($9,000), 6% dynamic drawdown ($6,000) and 4% daily drawdown ($4,000), passable in as little as 1 day. The dynamic drawdown rises with your highest closed balance and locks at the initial balance. The daily drawdown is a hard breach, measured from the day's starting balance. Funded (SimFi Performance) stage: same 6% dynamic and 4% daily limits plus a 40% best day rule, and a news ban from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high-impact releases. No time limit, but one closed trade every 60 days. Configurable at checkout; the help-centre preset (6% target, 3% daily, 4% dynamic) differs. Perps use netting only.
Default payout share 80%; E8's product table lists 80%, 90% and 100%. A payout must exceed 50% of the daily drawdown, which is more than $2,000 on the $100K default, matching E8's $2,001 example. First payout in as little as 3 days, because of the best day rule. Paid through WorkMarket, Rise or Aeropay (US). Funded capital is simulated; no perps payout record verified.

- $500K: $2,469 one-time
One-step simulated evaluation. Default configurator setup on $100K: 6% profit target ($6,000), 6% static drawdown ($6,000), 2.5% daily drawdown ($2,500) and a $2,000 (2%) daily profit cap on what counts toward the target. The static drawdown moves only when the first payout is processed, then sits at the initial balance. The daily drawdown is a hard breach. No consistency rule and no minimum trading days. No time limit, but one closed trade every 60 days. Configurable at checkout; the help-centre preset (8% target, 8% static) differs. Perps use netting only.
Default payout share 80%; E8's product table lists 80% and 100%. First payout in as little as 0 days. Requests can be made daily once profit since the last cycle is at least 1% of the initial balance. Each request pays 50% of profit, then your share applies to that half; the other 50% stays as a drawdown buffer. Paid through WorkMarket, Rise or Aeropay (US). Funded capital is simulated; no perps payout record verified.
Prices are configurator list prices for the Perpetual market with the default 6% drawdown and 80% payout share, read on 5 November 2026. Neither product charges an activation fee. The page shows 50% off a first order with code E8. E8 is E8 Markets' own public code, not a PFR code, and we confirmed the code price only on $100K. Choosing a different drawdown or payout share may change the price.
Loss rules with worked examples
These examples use the $100K default setups shown in the E8 Markets configurator.
E8 One (default setup)
The daily limit is 4%, so $4,000, measured from the balance you start the day with. Breaking it ends the account. The overall limit starts 6% below the initial balance at $94,000. Each time you close a profit, the floor rises to 6% below your highest closed balance. Once it reaches $100,000 it stops there. So after closing $6,000 of profit, any loss back to $100,000 breaches the account. The 9% target means you need $9,000 of closed profit against $6,000 of trailing room.
E8 Pro (default setup)
The daily limit is 2.5%, or $2,500. The overall floor is static at $94,000 and does not trail profits. It moves only when the first payout is processed. At that point the floor sits at $100,000, and the half of your profit left in the account becomes your only room for loss.
The E8 Markets help centre still lists different presets: E8 One at a 6% target, 3% daily and 4% dynamic drawdown, and E8 Pro at an 8% target and 8% static drawdown. Both products are configurable, so treat the configurator as the reference for the setup you buy.
Best day rule and daily profit cap
E8 One has no consistency rule in the challenge. On the funded stage, no single trading day may exceed 40% of total profit when you request a payout. A $1,000 best day needs at least $2,500 of total profit to meet that ratio. This is arithmetic, not a separate rule.
E8 Pro has no consistency rule, but only $2,000 (2% of a $100K balance) per day counts toward the target or profit. Reaching the default $6,000 target therefore takes at least three trading days, even if you make more on one day. That minimum is our arithmetic; E8 Markets states no minimum trading days for E8 Pro.
From evaluation to simulated funding
- Pick E8 One or E8 Pro, choose the Perpetual Futures market and set the drawdown and payout share in the configurator.
- Trade on E8 Terminal until closed profit reaches the target (9% on the E8 One default, 6% on the E8 Pro default), without breaking the daily or overall limits. E8 One can be passed in as little as 1 day.
- Move to the SimFi Performance stage. Capital stays simulated.
- The same drawdown limits apply on the funded stage. E8 One adds the 40% best day rule and the news ban.
- Request payouts from the dashboard once the payout criteria are met: as little as 3 days on E8 One and 0 days on E8 Pro.
Profit split and payout mechanics
The default payout share in the configurator is 80% on both products. E8 Markets lists 80%, 90% and 100% for E8 One and 80% and 100% for E8 Pro; we did not capture the price of the higher shares.
On E8 One, a payout must be larger than 50% of the daily drawdown. With the 4% default on $100K that means more than $2,000, which matches E8's own $2,001 example. The first payout can come as little as 3 days into the funded stage because of the best day rule.
On E8 Pro, the first payout can come as little as 0 days into the funded stage, and you can request a payout every day once profit since the last cycle reaches 1% of the initial balance. Half of the profit becomes the requestable amount and your share applies to that half. With $4,000 profit on a $100K account at an 80% share, $2,000 is requestable and you receive $1,600. The other $2,000 stays in the account as a buffer.
Payouts go through WorkMarket, Rise or, for US traders, Aeropay, after KYC with the processor. E8 Markets charges no payout fee, though processors may. E8 Markets reports a median of 24 hours from request to funds for January to May 2026, and up to 5 business days in some cases. That figure is self-reported and not specific to perps.
Evaluation fee and trading costs
On the default setup, a $100K E8 One account lists at $488 and a $100K E8 Pro account at $468, both one-time with no activation fee. Each gives $6,000 of initial overall loss room, so the list fee is about 8% of that loss budget. E8's public code E8 showed 50% off a first order, bringing the $100K prices to $244 and $234. The smallest accounts list at $48 (E8 One) and $28 (E8 Pro) for $5K.
Trading fees come on top. Crypto perps cost 0.045% of notional for market (taker) orders and 0.015% for limit (maker) orders. Stocks, indices, gold, oil and similar perps cost 0.009% taker and 0.003% maker. On a $50,000 notional BTC market order, that is $22.50 each way. Funding rates also apply on all Hyperliquid assets. E8 Markets links to Hyperliquid for funding detail rather than publishing rates.
E8 Terminal and market coverage
Perps trade only on E8 Terminal, the in-house platform from E8 Markets. Perps are not available on MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker or MatchTrader. E8 Terminal uses the Hyperliquid data feed, includes an objective tracker, risk-based stop loss and take profit tools, and a trade scoring tab.
Maximum leverage on perps is 1:15 for Bitcoin, Ethereum, indices, metals and energy, 1:2 for other crypto, 1:5 for stocks and 1:25 for forex. Perps accounts use netting only, so an opposite order of the same size closes the position. We did not test execution, slippage or uptime.
Inactivity, news and trading permissions
Neither product has a time limit, but you must place and close at least one trade every 60 days.
E8 One allows news trading in the challenge. On the funded stage, trading targeted instruments is banned from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high-impact news, and profits from breaches can be removed. E8 Markets allows news trading on E8 Pro without restriction, though the E8 Pro page words this as "E8 pro Forex", so confirm it for perps.
E8 Markets allows copy trading between your own accounts and allows EAs on E8 One and E8 Pro, limited to one strategy per user. E8 Markets does not document EA, bot or API access on E8 Terminal, so do not assume automation works for perps.
Best for / avoid if
Best for
Perps traders who want a one-step route on a browser terminal at a moderate one-time fee, and who will read the rules the configurator shows for their chosen setup. E8 Pro suits traders who want a static floor and frequent smaller payouts.
Avoid if
Traders who need MT5, cTrader or API trading for perps, a verified perps payout history, or rules that match the help centre exactly.
Methodology score: 6.0/10
Overall score: 6.0/10, approved on 5 November 2026 (Cost raised to 7.0 on confirmed prices). Methodology v2.3 weights: rules 20%, payouts 20%, cost 20%, platform 15%, support 10%, transparency 15%. Weighted result 5.90. No commercial adjustment.
- Challenge Rules: 6.0/10. One step with no time limit and a choice of static or trailing drawdown. The E8 One default asks for 9% against a 6% trailing drawdown, and E8 Pro counts only 2% of profit per day.
- Payouts: 6.0/10. Daily requests on E8 Pro, documented processors and a published median time. E8 Pro releases half of profit per request, E8 One has a 40% best day rule, and no perps payout record is verified.
- Cost: 7.0/10. List prices are moderate for the loss room ($468 to $488 for $6,000 on $100K) with no activation fee. Taker fees and funding add cost, and prices for higher payout shares were not captured.
- Platform: 6.0/10. E8 Terminal with a Hyperliquid feed and built-in risk tools. Perps are locked to one platform and execution was not tested.
- Support: 5.5/10. A detailed help centre with worked examples, but its rule presets are out of date against the configurator. No response time or support quality tested.
- Transparency: 5.0/10. Prices, fees and payout mechanics are public, but the help centre and configurator give different core rules for both products, alongside smaller errors such as the phase 1 wording.
The payouts cap of 6.5 applies because 12 months of verified perps payouts are not established; the payouts score is already 6.0. The perps launch date is not published, so no first-year cap is applied, and the total is below 7.0 either way.
Offer and commercial disclosure
PFR has no discount code for E8 Perpetuals. The configurator shows E8 Markets' own public code E8 for 50% off a first order; that code belongs to E8 Markets, not PFR. The link below is the existing E8 Markets partner link used across PFR, and PFR may earn a commission. It does not change the score. We have not checked that the link lands on the perps market, so select Perpetual Futures in the configurator.
