What works
  • No time limit and no minimum trading days on either plan
  • Overnight positions allowed in every phase, which is rare for options funding programs
  • Growth plan gives Level 5 access, so spreads, iron condors, butterflies and calendars all work
  • The $129 activation fee comes back in full on the first payout
  • Rules page documents the trailing drawdown mechanics in detail, including that breaches are checked in real time on both plans
  • Payouts go out by ACH or wire from a named Mercury business account
  • 261 whitelisted tickers cover the liquid US names, including SPY, QQQ, NVDA and AAPL
What does not
  • Pricing is a monthly subscription that recurs until you pass, so the headline price is not the total cost
  • Every payout needs 8 qualifying winning days, and the counter resets to zero after each payout
  • The first four payouts are capped, starting at $1,000 on a 25K account
  • Express accounts are buy only, so no spread or multi-leg strategy works on the cheaper plan
  • RixTrade is the only platform, with no ThinkorSwim, Tastytrade or IBKR option
  • Options Funding launched in 2026 and has 9 Trustpilot reviews, so the payout record is short
  • Fees are nonrefundable outside billing errors and confirmed processing failures

The Verdict

Options Funding is an options prop firm that runs a one-step evaluation with no time limit and no minimum trading days. Few options firms offer both. Options Funding also allows overnight positions on every account and in every phase, which matters for anyone trading calendars, swing setups or anything that is not a same-day scalp. Most options programs force a flat close before the bell. Options Funding does not.

The pricing model is the thing to understand before buying. Options Funding bills the evaluation as a monthly subscription that recurs until you pass, so the $62.70 on the Express 25K plan is a monthly cost and not a one-time entry fee. A trader who passes in three weeks pays $62.70. A trader who takes five months pays $313.50. Options Funding removed the time limit and then attached a meter to the clock, and those two facts pull against each other. Budget for the number of months you realistically need, not the number on the pricing page.

Getting paid takes more work than the 80% split suggests. Options Funding requires 8 qualifying winning days in every payout cycle, and a qualifying day means closing with at least $100 of realized profit on a 25K account, $150 on a 50K, or $200 on a 100K. The counter resets to zero the moment a payout is paid, so every cycle starts again from nothing. Options Funding caps the first four payouts as well, starting at $1,000 on a 25K account. A trader who makes $3,000 in a strong month collects $1,000 of it and waits another 8 qualifying days for the rest.

Options Funding documents all of this openly, and that is the most encouraging thing about the firm. The rules page explains that the end-of-day and intraday labels only control when the drawdown floor moves up, and that breaches are monitored in real time on both plans either way. That is exactly the kind of detail firms usually bury in terms nobody reads. Options Funding publishes 194 knowledgebase answers covering drawdown, payouts, KYC and billing, names Mercury as the payment rail, and states plainly that the activation fee is not refunded if an account never reaches a payout. Compare that against Maverick Trading, where pinning down the terms takes work.

The gaps are age and platform. Options Funding launched in 2026 and carries 3.5 stars from 9 Trustpilot reviews, which is not enough history to judge how the firm behaves when a large payout is disputed. RixTrade is the only platform available, with no ThinkorSwim, Tastytrade or IBKR route, so traders are learning new order entry on a tool that did not exist last year. One Trustpilot reviewer alleged in August 2026 that RixTrade caused problems around payout time. That is one unverified account from a nine-review sample. It does not prove anything on its own, and it is the kind of complaint that either disappears or repeats. We will update this review if it repeats.

Options Funding suits an options trader who wants an unhurried evaluation, holds positions overnight, and can pay for the Growth plan to get spread access. Options Funding suits scalpers and anyone on a tight budget far less, because the subscription keeps charging and Express accounts cannot trade a single spread. Anyone who wants a longer payout record should look at The Trading Pit first, and the full field is on the options prop firms page. Options Funding scores 6.0 on our scoring method, held up by unusually clear rules and held down by a young payout record and a platform with no alternative.

FAQ

Is Options Funding legit?

Options Funding operates as Options Funding LLC, registered in Sheridan, Wyoming, and pays traders by ACH or wire transfer sent from a Mercury business account. Options Funding holds a 3.5 rating from 9 Trustpilot reviews on a profile claimed in May 2026, and Options Funding publishes a 194 question knowledgebase covering drawdown, payouts, KYC and billing. Options Funding launched in 2026, so the payout record is short and the review sample is small. Traders should size their first purchase accordingly.

Does Options Funding charge you every month?

Yes. Options Funding bills the evaluation as a monthly subscription that recurs until you pass. The Express 25K plan costs $62.70 a month with code ADMIN6711B, and the Growth 100K plan costs $131.70 a month with code ADMIN6711B. Options Funding places no time limit on the evaluation, so a trader who takes four months to pass the Express 25K plan pays $250.80 rather than the $62.70 shown on the pricing page. Options Funding states that fees are generally nonrefundable outside of billing errors, duplicate charges and confirmed processing failures.

How many winning days do you need to get paid at Options Funding?

Options Funding requires 8 qualifying winning days in each payout cycle. A qualifying winning day is a day you close with realized profit of at least $100 on a 25K account, $150 on a 50K, or $200 on a 100K. The 8 days do not need to be consecutive, and losing days, flat days and days you do not trade never reset the count. Options Funding resets the counter to zero every time a payout is paid, so each new cycle has to build its own 8 days.

Can you trade spreads on Options Funding?

Only on the Growth plan. Options Funding gives Growth accounts Level 5 options access, which covers undefined risk positions, verticals, iron condors, butterflies, calendars and diagonals. Options Funding restricts Express accounts to buy only single leg long calls and long puts, so no spread or multi-leg strategy works on an Express account. Traders who want defined risk spreads need the Growth plan, which costs $18 a month more at 25K and $30 a month more at 50K and 100K.

Does the ADMIN6711B code actually work at Options Funding?

Yes. Code ADMIN6711B takes 70% off every Options Funding plan and applies at checkout. ADMIN6711B is a partner code and takes 10 points more off than the 60% rate Options Funding advertises publicly. The discount applies to the recurring monthly charge for as long as the subscription runs. Code ADMIN6711B does not reduce the flat $129 activation fee charged when a funded account goes live.
