Vault Funder Review 2026 – No Time Limit CFD Challenge

Closed — no longer operating

Vault Funder is winding down. In a notice sent to clients on 30 July 2026, chief executive Chris Dicks said the firm had concluded its operating model was no longer viable and would stop rather than keep selling evaluations it might not be able to honour. Sales of new challenges stopped on 28 July 2026, and all accounts closed to new trading on 30 July 2026.

The firm says active challenges, evaluations and funded accounts are being refunded in full regardless of performance, and that funded traders will be paid any profit they had earned but not yet withdrawn. Clients were told to expect a second email within 48 business hours containing a secure claim form.

Vault Funder says it will never ask for banking details by email reply, WhatsApp or social media, and that anyone requesting a release fee is running a scam. Its stated contact address is support@vaultfunder.trade. We have kept this review online for reference and removed our links to the firm.

Our Verdict

Vault Funder is a South African CFD prop firm with a genuinely trader-friendly evaluation structure. The unlimited time limit removes deadline pressure entirely, and permitting Expert Advisors is a real plus for anyone running automated or semi-automated strategies. With 330 Trustpilot reviews mostly positive, and reviewers specifically noting no declined payouts so far, the early trust signal here is stronger than most firms of this size.

That said, there are real gaps worth being clear-eyed about. Vault Funder is not a regulated broker, and at least one prop firm aggregator lists it as having not claimed its own profile, with spreads, commissions, and news trading rules left undisclosed. None of that is unusual for a firm at this scale in CFD prop trading, but it does mean you are relying more heavily on the Trustpilot track record than on independently verifiable terms.

The profit split is a specific point of confusion. One detailed rules breakdown lists an 80% split, while another summary cites 90%. We were not able to resolve which figure is current, so treat this as something to confirm directly at checkout rather than assume from either source.

The 5% daily loss limit and 10% total loss limit are standard for the category, and the scaling plan up to $1 million with 25% increases gives a real path forward for consistently profitable traders. Vault Funder is worth considering if the no-time-limit structure and EA support matter to your trading style, but confirm the profit split and read the payout terms carefully given the gaps in publicly available information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Vault Funder legit?

Vault Funder has 330 Trustpilot reviews, predominantly positive, with traders citing clearly explained rules and reporting no declined payouts so far. It is not a regulated broker and has not claimed its profile on at least one third-party prop firm aggregator, which is worth knowing, though neither issue is unusual for a firm at this size in the CFD prop trading space.

What is Vault Funder’s profit split?

Sources disagree here. One detailed rules breakdown lists an 80% split, while another summary cites 90%. We could not resolve which is current at the time of writing, so confirm the exact split directly with Vault Funder before purchasing a challenge.

Does Vault Funder have a time limit on its challenge?

No. Vault Funder’s two-phase challenge has an unlimited time limit, so there is no deadline pressure to hit the profit target.

Can I use Expert Advisors on Vault Funder?

Yes, Expert Advisors (EAs) are permitted on Vault Funder accounts.

Is Vault Funder still selling challenges?

No. Vault Funder stopped selling challenges on 28 July 2026 and closed all accounts to new trading on 30 July 2026, as part of a wind-down announced by chief executive Chris Dicks. The firm says all active challenges, evaluations and funded accounts are being refunded in full, and that earned profit will be paid out.
