Before connecting Expert Advisor Studio to a prop firm account

A supported connection does not establish permission to use it at a prop firm. Check account rules separately.

  1. Read EA rules. Confirm the firm permits generated EAs, automation and any shared strategy logic before deploying.
  2. Use broker-specific costs. Test spreads, commission, swap and trading sessions matching the target account.
  3. Keep data out of sample. Reserve data not used in generation or optimization. Large strategy searches can select chance patterns.
  4. Check tax and activation. EU customers may owe VAT. The purchase page says activation emails arrive within 24 hours.

Can I export EAs for free?

No. The vendor permits free testing but requires a paid account to export Expert Advisors for MT4 and MT5.
