MQL5 Market: pricing and features

MetaTrader software marketplace

MQL5 Market sells third-party Expert Advisors, indicators and utilities for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Prices and supported terminal versions belong to individual listings, not one subscription for the whole market.

A listing in MQL5 Market is not evidence that a prop firm permits the product or strategy. Review the exact EA or utility, not just the marketplace category.

Checks before use

A listing in MQL5 Market is not evidence that a prop firm permits the product or strategy. Review the exact EA or utility, not just the marketplace category.

  1. EA and copying rules. Check the firm's automation, third-party signal and shared-strategy restrictions for the exact product.
  2. Seller claim quality. Backtest and seller claims do not prove live performance. Examine risk settings and test in an isolated demo environment.
  3. Licence and total cost. Check activations, rental versus purchase terms and whether hosting or extra data is needed.
  4. Software permissions. Treat downloaded trading software as code with access to your terminal. Review required permissions and avoid sharing account credentials with sellers.

MQL5 Market questions

Does MQL5 Market have one monthly subscription?

No. Products have their own prices and terms, and the marketplace includes a Free category.

Can an MT4 EA run on MT5?

Do not assume that. Choose the terminal-specific version listed by the seller.

Does a Market listing mean prop-firm approval?

No. Your firm must permit the strategy, automation and account-management behavior separately.
