Papaya Funding
Review 2026
6.3 out of 10
The short answer
Low entry prices. New firm. No payout record yet.
CFD challenges start at $44 and futures at $129 a month, with the full rule grid published for every size. Papaya launched in October 2026, has no public payout record and runs its evaluations through Prop Account, LLC, so start small and read each plan's payout limits.
Our verdict
Papaya Funding is a prop firm for CFD and futures traders that launched in October 2026. It sells four CFD programs with a one-time fee (Papaya Two, Papaya One, Papaya Signature and Instant Funding) and three futures programs billed monthly (Papaya Signature, Papaya One and Instant Funding). CFD challenges start at $44 and futures at $129 a month. [S4, S5, S8]
Papaya does not run the evaluations itself. Its site says it is an affiliate of Prop Account, LLC, a Delaware company that provides the assessments and receives the fees, and funded traders sign a Trader Agreement with Prop Account LC. Papaya names its founder, João Cardoso, but not its own operating company. [S1, S8]
All accounts are simulated. Papaya says it is not a broker, takes no deposits and runs every account in a demo environment. [S1, S7] With one month of history there is no public payout record yet, so this review covers the published rules and prices, not a tested payout.

Rating breakdown
Overall score: 6.3/10, weighted with our v2.3 methodology. Papaya scores well on cost and publishes a full rule and price grid, but payout reliability and transparency are held back until the firm has a public payout record and names its own operating company. Checked November 1, 2026; next check December 1, 2026.
Account plans and pricing
Papaya Two at $44 for $5K is the cheapest way in, which puts it among the cheapest prop firm challenges we track. CFD fees are paid once and are the same on all four CFD platforms. Futures plans are monthly subscriptions, and on Papaya One and futures Instant Funding the price depends on the platform: Rithmic costs $45 more a month on Papaya One and $35 more on Instant Funding. [S2, S3, S4, S5]

CFD challenge rules
All three CFD evaluations use a 3% daily loss measured on balance and a static maximum loss fixed to the starting balance, so it does not trail as the account grows. See trailing versus static drawdown for why that matters. Leverage is 1:50 on every CFD program. Breaking the daily or maximum loss is a hard breach that fails the evaluation or closes the funded account. [S2, S6, S9]
| Rule | Papaya Two | Papaya One | Papaya Signature |
| Steps | 2 | 1 | 1 |
| Profit target | 10%, then 5% | 12% | 9% |
| Daily loss | 3% of balance | 3% of balance | 3% of balance |
| Max loss | 8% static | 9% static | 3% static |
| Consistency | None | 50% in evaluation and funded | None in evaluation, 50% funded |
| Profitable days before payout | 4, each at least 0.25% | 4, each at least 0.25% | Not stated |
| Profit split | 80% | 90% | 85% |
| Payout cap | None stated | None stated | 3% of balance per payout |
| Withdrawal delay | None | None | 14 days before each withdrawal |
| Drawdown locks on payout | No | Yes | No |
Papaya Signature is the strictest CFD plan. A 3% total loss limit leaves very little room, and the 3% payout cap and 14-day delay slow down withdrawals. Papaya does not publish an evaluation time limit or a minimum number of trading days for any CFD program; its homepage only says you can get funded "in as little as 3 trading days". [S1, S2]
Futures challenge rules
Both futures evaluations have a 6% profit target, no daily loss limit and an end-of-day trailing maximum loss that shrinks in percentage terms as the account grows: 6% at $25K, 4% at $50K and 3% at $75K and above. Positions must be closed before the session ends, so there is no overnight holding on futures. [S3, S5, S6]
| Rule | Papaya Signature | Papaya One |
| Profit target | 6% ($1,500 to $9,000) | 6% ($1,500 to $9,000) |
| Daily loss | None | None |
| Max loss (EOD trailing) | $1,500 / $2,000 / $2,250 / $3,000 / $4,500 | $1,500 / $2,000 / $2,250 / $3,000 / $4,500 |
| Consistency | 50% in evaluation and funded | 40% in evaluation and funded |
| Contracts (standard / micro) | 1/10, 3/30, 6/60, 9/90, 12/120 by size | 1/10, 3/30, 6/60, 9/90, 12/120 by size |
| Profitable days before payout | Listed as "to be confirmed" by Papaya | 5, with $100 to $300 minimum profit per day by size |
| Non-withdrawable buffer | 6% / 4% / 3% by size | None stated |
| Max per payout | 5% up to $75K, 4% at $100K and $150K | 5% up to $75K, 4% at $100K and $150K |
| Max withdrawable profit | Not stated | 50% of profit overall |
| Platforms | Rithmic, DXFutures, Volumetrica, Tickblaze | Rithmic, DXFutures, Volumetrica, Tickblaze |
Papaya One costs more but adds a drawdown lock on payout; Signature is cheaper but holds back a buffer. The 50% cap on withdrawable profit on Papaya One limits how much of a good run you can take out. [S3]
Instant funding rules
Both instant accounts skip the evaluation, so you trade the funded account from day one and pay more for it. [S2, S3]
| Rule | CFD Instant Funding | Futures Instant Funding |
| Price | $106 to $1,600, one-time | $473 to $1,148 a month on DXFutures |
| Daily loss | 2% of balance | 2% |
| Max loss | 5% end-of-day trailing | 4% end-of-day trailing |
| Consistency | 18% | 20% |
| Profitable days before payout | 7 | Not stated |
| Non-withdrawable buffer | 5% | 4% |
| Max per payout | Not stated | 5% |
| Profit split | 90% | 90% |
A hard breach on a funded account forfeits accumulated gains unless you bought the Payout Protector add-on. Papaya does not publish what that add-on costs. [S9]
Papaya Funding news trading rule
You can keep a position open through high-impact news, but you cannot open or close a trade from 3 minutes before to 3 minutes after the release. The same rule applies to CFD and futures accounts. Outside that window, news trading is allowed. [S6, S7, S8]
| Holding positions through news | Allowed |
| Opening or closing trades | Not allowed within 3 minutes either side of high-impact news |
| Which events | High-impact releases; Papaya does not name a calendar source |
Payouts
CFD accounts pay every 14 days with a minimum of 1% of the account size, and futures accounts every 5 days with a $500 minimum. The split is 90% on Instant Funding, Papaya One and every futures plan, 85% on CFD Signature and 80% on Papaya Two. Papaya says approved payouts are typically paid within 24 to 48 hours through Rise, crypto or store credits. That is the firm's own claim; we have not seen a payout. [S4, S5, S6, S7]
| Profit split | 90% on Instant Funding and Papaya One, 85% on CFD Signature, 80% on CFD Papaya Two; 90% on all futures plans |
| CFD cycle | Every 14 days; minimum 1% of account size |
| Futures cycle | Every 5 days; minimum $500; up to 5 payouts before a review |
| First CFD payout | After 14 days, with 4 profitable days of at least 0.25% (Papaya One and Two) or 7 profitable days (Instant) |
| Methods | Rise (sent to a local bank), crypto or store credits |
| Processing | Typically 24 to 48 hours after approval (firm claim) |
| Refunds | Prop Account terms: no refunds on services purchased |
Trading conditions
CFD accounts run on DXtrade, cTrader, MatchTrader and GooeyPro, and futures accounts on Rithmic, DXFutures, Volumetrica and Tickblaze. Papaya's homepage FAQ code also mentions "MT4/5 (with a license)", but none of the product pages list MetaTrader, so we treat it as not available. [S4, S5, S9]
| Instruments | CFD: forex, indices, commodities, metals and crypto. Futures: index futures such as ES and NQ, crude oil and gold, in mini and micro sizes |
| Leverage | 1:50 on all CFD programs |
| Holding | CFD positions may be held overnight and over weekends; futures positions must close before the session ends |
| EAs | Allowed, but not to exploit pricing errors or latency, and no third-party strategies sold to pass challenges |
| Copy trading | Not covered on Papaya's FAQ. The Prop Account terms allow copying only between accounts you own and ban group hedging across accounts |
| Inactivity | 30 days without trading closes the account |
| Allocation | Up to $1,000,000 per trader across all accounts |
| Eligibility | 18 or older; KYC and a Trader Agreement before a funded account is issued |
| Restricted countries | Pakistan, Russia, Cuba, Sudan, Somalia, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Libya and Vietnam. US traders are accepted on CFDs and futures |
Is Papaya Funding legit?
Papaya Funding is a new brand, not an established firm. It launched in October 2026, and the business behind the evaluations is Prop Account, LLC, which takes the fees, while funded traders sign with Prop Account LC. Papaya names its founder, João Cardoso, but not its own company or address. [S1, S8]
The "Terms & Conditions" link in Papaya's footer goes to a shared Prop Account terms page hosted on dashboardanalytix.com, last updated September 2026. Those terms say traders do not invest actual currency, but also that traders who pass "shall be allocated capital to trade in a live account". Papaya's own pages say every account is simulated. Read the Trader Agreement before relying on either wording. [S10, S7]
On November 1, 2026, Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 4.0 from 5 reviews and noted that the company has not invited customers recently. The widget on Papaya's homepage shows 4.2. Five reviews say nothing about payouts. We found no public payout proof on any Papaya page. [S11, S1]
Our verdict
Low entry prices and a wide menu of CFD and futures paths make Papaya Funding easy to try. Papaya Two at $44 and futures Signature at $129 a month are cheap, and the full rule grid is public for every size.
It only launched in October 2026, has no public payout record yet and runs its evaluations through Prop Account, LLC. Treat it as a new firm: start with a small account, read each plan's payout limits before you buy, and keep records of every payout request.
Best for
Cost-conscious traders who want a cheap first evaluation (CFD challenges at $44, futures at $129 a month) and traders who want CFDs and futures from one firm with 1-step, 2-step or instant paths.
Avoid if
You want a firm with a payout track record, you need MT4 or MT5, or you want to hold futures positions overnight.
