The short answer

X Funded’s main appeal is a combination that most prop firms do not pair together: weekly payouts and up to 100% profit split. At most CFD prop firms, weekly payouts are either unavailable or locked behind a paid add-on. X Funded offers them as a default, which matters to traders who want faster access to their earnings rather than waiting 30 days.

How we score firms

Score note. Traders on Trustpilot reported payouts denied between July and September 2026 over IP addresses, stop-loss placement and timing rules, and one reported a three-month wait, while three other recent reviewers say they were paid. In its reply to one complaint, the firm pointed to a 5-minute stop-loss rule; 42% of the firm's 585 reviews are 1-star and Trustpilot has withheld its rating for a guideline breach. Our score was lowered from 5.0 to 4.9 after our payout-trouble rule capped its payout score at 4.0.

Our verdict: 4.9 out of 10

The challenge rules are clean. No consistency rule applies during either the 1-Phase or 2-Phase evaluation, so a strong single day of trading will not count against you during the challenge. That is a meaningful difference from firms like FXIFY, which apply a 30% consistency rule across the board. The 2-Phase entry from €89 on a $10K account is also competitive on price.

The platform situation is the clearest limitation. X Funded runs cTrader exclusively. Traders already using MT4 or MT5 — which is most of the market — will need to adapt. cTrader is a capable platform with good charting and depth of market access, but it is not interchangeable with MetaTrader for traders who have built strategies around those platforms’ specific features or broker-specific infrastructure.

On funded accounts, the rules tighten considerably. News trading is not permitted and positions must be closed at least five minutes before scheduled news events. Overnight and weekend holding is also not allowed. The 45% consistency rule kicks in on the funded phase, though at 45% it is more lenient than the 30% rule many other firms apply. A 1% monthly activity target also applies, meaning funded traders need to stay active. Use our consistency calculator to check whether your trading patterns meet the funded account rules.

The company structure is worth noting. XFunded LTD is registered in Saint Lucia, and payment processing is handled by a separate UAE entity. This dual-entity structure is not unusual in the prop firm space, but traders should read the terms carefully before depositing. The firm does not yet have the same public payout history as more established operators, which introduces some additional uncertainty.

Multiple traders on Forex Peace Army and Trustpilot report a similar pattern with X Funded: payout requests getting denied over rules they say were not clearly stated upfront, or not enforced until a withdrawal was on the table. Complaints mention a correlation rule missing from the firm’s published rules page, disputes over platform-generated default stop losses, and disagreements about which news source counted for news-trading restrictions. At least one case was formally escalated on Forex Peace Army against X Funded’s parent entity. This does not confirm wrongdoing, but the recurring theme across independent complaints is worth flagging for traders reading the rules closely before funding a challenge.

Overall, X Funded is a reasonable option for cTrader traders who value weekly payouts and a clean challenge structure. The funded account restrictions on news and overnight positions will rule it out for some strategies, but for traders running intraday systems on cTrader, the combination of fast payouts and flexible profit split is genuinely competitive.

More on X Funded

Score revised July 2026: 7.5 to 6.0. We had payout reliability at 7.5. Independent evidence does not support that. Trustpilot has removed a number of reviews for this firm as fake, which undermines the rating itself. Traders document a withdrawal request going 4 weeks and 27 support emails with no reply, and a $5,000 payout denied because the trader used Investing.com rather than the firm’s preferred news calendar. A third-party tracker notes denied-withdrawal complaints reported repeatedly across Reddit and review sites. Rules and cost still score reasonably, but this is not a firm we can call reliable on payouts. See our methodology.
