Edge Prop Trading
Review 2026
5.1 out of 10
The short answer
Easy evaluation rules. Strict funded rules. Conflicting paperwork.
One step, no daily loss limit and no time limit, with end-of-day trailing drawdown on EdgeOne and EdgeX. Funded accounts are intraday only with strict conduct rules, the owners are not named, payouts are not independently verified and EdgeProp's own documents disagree on billing and fees, so start small and read the agreement.
Our verdict
Edge Prop Trading (EdgeProp) is a futures prop firm run by EdgeProp Trading SRL, a Romanian company, with a US affiliate called EdgeProp LLC. It sells three one-step evaluations, EdgeCore, EdgeOne and EdgeX, in sizes from $50K to $200K. None has a daily loss limit. EdgeCore uses an intraday trailing drawdown, while EdgeOne and EdgeX use an end-of-day trailing drawdown. [S1, S3, S10]
List prices run from $150 for a $50K EdgeCore to $788 for a $200K EdgeX. Evaluation and funded accounts are simulated. EdgeProp describes a later move to live capital through order mirroring, but only at its discretion. [S2, S9, S18]
The firm's pages are detailed but often disagree with each other on billing, activation fees, minimum trading days and payout methods. We list each conflict below and cite the legal agreement where it differs from marketing pages. The homepage says EdgeProp has operated since 2023 and paid traders over $450K in 2026; we could not verify either claim. [S1, S9]

Rating breakdown
Overall score: 5.1/10, weighted with our methodology. EdgeProp shows payouts only on its own leaderboard, which cannot be checked, so the payout score is capped at 5.5. We scored it lower than the cap because of the per-request limits and the audit required before every payout. Rules and transparency lose marks because EdgeProp's own documents contradict each other and its owners are not named. Checked November 7, 2026; next check December 7, 2026.
Account plans and pricing
All three plans share the same targets, drawdown amounts and position limits. They differ in how the drawdown trails and in the funded payout rules, and EdgeX costs the most. The cheapest list price is $150 for a $50K EdgeCore. [S1, S2, S3]

List prices on edgeproptrading.com on November 7, 2026, before any code. The help centre calls this a one-time evaluation fee with no monthly subscription, but the Funded Trader Agreement labels the same amounts "Monthly Fee", the server-rendered How It Works page shows "$150 / month", and the Terms mention subscriptions that renew automatically. Check the billing line at checkout before you pay. [S4, S9, S10, S11, S18, S21]
Activation fee: the rules page, reviewed 2 October 2026, says there is no activation fee, but older help articles quote $60 to $120 by size, $80, $90 or $110. A reset costs $60 according to the help centre, "if applicable to your program". Level 2 market data is an extra. [S3, S4, S11, S12, S13, S23]
Evaluation rules
Each evaluation is one stage: hit a 6% profit target, stay above the trailing threshold and trade a minimum number of days. There is no daily loss limit and no time limit. The drawdown is a fixed dollar amount, so it is 5% of the balance at $50K but 3% at $150K and $200K. Read our guide to trailing versus static drawdown if the difference is new to you. [S3, S4, S18]
| Rule | EdgeCore | EdgeOne | EdgeX |
| Drawdown type | Intraday trailing, follows equity highs including open profit | End-of-day trailing | End-of-day trailing |
| Daily loss limit | None | None | None |
| Profit target | 6% ($3,000 to $12,000) | 6% | 6% |
| Minimum trading days | 7 (live cards showed 5) | 7 (live cards showed 5) | 7 (live cards showed 5) |
| Time limit | None | None | None |
| Breach | Touching the threshold fails the account at once | Account fails at or below the active threshold | Account fails at or below the active threshold |
Minimum days: the rules page, the help centre and the Funded Trader Agreement all say 7 trading days, but the plan cards rendered on the homepage on November 7, 2026 said 5. We use 7 until EdgeProp corrects one of them. Position limits apply to all open positions combined, and one standard contract counts as ten micros. [S2, S3, S4, S9, S18]
Inactivity: the help centre says an account with no trades for 30 days is deleted, and breached accounts are deleted after 30 days unless you buy a reset. The agreement is stricter and asks for at least one trade per calendar week. [S9, S15]
Funded account rules
The funded stage, which EdgeProp calls a Performance Account, is also simulated. It adds a set of conduct rules that matter more than the evaluation rules. On EdgeCore and EdgeOne you start at half the maximum contract size and move to full size the session after you reach the Safety Net, which is the starting balance plus the drawdown plus $100 ($52,600 on a $50K account). [S3, S9, S22]
| Rule | What the agreement says |
| Holding time | Intraday only; no overnight or weekend positions; positions close by 3:10 PM CT |
| Stop loss | Every trade needs a stop loss placed right after entry |
| Reward to risk | No more than 5:1 |
| MAE | Open loss on one trade capped at 30% of the start-of-day profit cushion (EdgeCore and EdgeOne) |
| Scaling | Half size until the Safety Net on EdgeCore and EdgeOne; a breach can mean payout denial, a reset to the prior end-of-day balance and extra compliant days |
| Averaging down | Prohibited |
| Hedging and copy trading | Hedging across any accounts is banned; trade copying among users is banned |
| Microscalping | At least 50% of profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds |
| Automation | No fully automated bots or HFT; semi-automated tools only with active supervision |
Some of these rules differ between documents. One help article allows averaging into a position as part of a defined strategy, while the agreement bans it. The help centre defines microscalping as trades of 5 seconds or less, the agreement as under 10 seconds. EdgeX funded accounts are exempt from the scaling plan and, per the agreement, from the MAE and consistency rules, but the prohibited activities still apply. [S5, S9, S16, S24]
Edge Prop Trading news trading rule
You must be flat at least 5 minutes before a scheduled high-impact release and cannot open, close or hold a position until 2 minutes after it. Holding through the window disqualifies an evaluation and can trigger an audit and suspension on a funded account. EdgeProp lists releases such as NFP, CPI, FOMC and retail sales in its dashboard calendar, in Central Time. [S14, S9]
Payouts
You keep 100% of the first $5,000 in cumulative payouts and 90% after that. On EdgeCore and EdgeOne each payout needs 5 profitable days of at least $200 net since the last one, a balance that has reached the Safety Net, a pass on the 40% consistency rule and a compliance audit. EdgeProp says approved payouts go through Rise, which then pays out by bank transfer, crypto or local currency. [S5, S6, S7, S8, S9]
| Profit split | 100% of the first $5,000 paid out, then 90% |
| Frequency | After every 5 profitable days of at least $200 net (EdgeCore and EdgeOne) |
| EdgeX | No consistency rule; withdraw profit above the Safety Net; the agreement says no minimum days, the help centre says 5 profitable days |
| Minimum | $500 |
| Maximum per request | $2,500 ($50K to $100K) or $3,500 ($150K, $200K) for payouts 1 to 5; $5,000 from payout 6 |
| Consistency | Best day no more than 40% of profit for the payout period (EdgeCore and EdgeOne) |
| Processing | 24 to 48 hours after audit approval per the agreement; the help centre says 2 to 5 business days for review |
| Method | Rise (exclusive per the July 2026 article); older articles list PayPal, bank wire or Wise |
These are EdgeProp's own terms; we have not seen a payout. The payouts page shows a leaderboard with first names, cities and amounts, but its top entry of $12,500 is above the $5,000 per-request cap the firm publishes, and there is nothing on the page that lets an outsider check it. The agreement also lets EdgeProp change payout requirements at any time by posting them on its site. [S9, S20]
Trading conditions
Each account includes one platform license. The current list is tradesea, WealthCharts, Bookmap, ATAS, Jigsaw daytradr and Journalytix, and only one can be active at a time. NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView are not on the current list, although a July 2026 help article still names NinjaTrader, Quantower and Sierra Chart. Level 1 data is included; Level 2 costs extra. [S16, S4, S11]
| Instruments | CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX futures: equity indices, energy, metals, grains, rates and currencies, plus micros; EUREX not available |
| Commissions (round turn) | ES and NQ $5.00, MES and MNQ $1.42, CL $5.72, GC $4.10 |
| Session cutoff | Automatic liquidation starts 3:08 PM CT; positions must be closed by 3:10 PM CT |
| Max accounts | 5 per trader, evaluation and funded combined (one help article says 10) |
| Restricted countries | About 80 countries, including China, Russia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Vietnam and Cyprus; the US is not on the list |
Is Edge Prop Trading legit?
EdgeProp names a registered company, EdgeProp Trading SRL, with Romanian trade register number J2025014346001 and tax ID 51366724, and its agreement is governed by Romanian law with disputes heard in Bucharest. It does not name its founders or directors. [S9, S10, S23]
Several things need care. The homepage says "Since 2023", but the trade register number points to a 2025 registration. The footer disclaimer refers to "Trading Combine" and "Express Funded Account" products and an entity called EdgePropTrader, LLC, none of which appear anywhere else on the site. The funding agreement help article warns of penalties of up to 10,000 EUR for breach. And the rule documents contradict each other on billing, fees, minimum days and payout methods. None of this proves bad faith, but it means you should rely on the signed agreement and your checkout page, not the marketing pages. [S1, S23]
All evaluation and funded accounts are simulated, and the Terms say no real profits or losses occur in them. [S10, S18]
Our verdict
On paper, EdgeProp has trader-friendly evaluation terms: one step, no daily loss limit, no time limit and an end-of-day trailing drawdown on two of its three plans. The funded stage is a different story, with intraday-only trading, mandatory stops, an MAE cap, half-size scaling and an audit before every payout.
The bigger problem is consistency. EdgeProp's own pages disagree on whether the fee is one-time or monthly, whether there is an activation fee, how many days you need and how you get paid. Its owners are not named and its payouts are not independently verified. If you try it, start with one small account, screenshot the checkout terms and read the Funded Trader Agreement before you trade.
Best for
Futures traders who want a one-step evaluation with no daily loss limit and an end-of-day trailing drawdown, and who are comfortable with strict funded-stage conduct rules.
Avoid if
You want a firm with a verified payout record and named owners, you hold positions overnight, or you need NinjaTrader, Tradovate or TradingView.

Our Edge Prop Trading code is A62012EBF0 for 30% off. It was supplied by our partner and we have not tested it at checkout, so confirm the final price before you pay. PropFirmReviews earns a commission when you use it or buy through our link. On November 7, 2026 EdgeProp's own site was also showing its code TRADE60 for 60% off all plans; that is the firm's public offer, not ours, and we do not know whether the two can be combined.
